We lost an incredibly strong and beautiful soul, Thomas Jurkowski, on August 26, 2026. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Jurkowski (Brucker), loving father of Julie (Jeff Kolaks), grandfather of Lucas Hawkins, brother to Sandy (late Ronnie Pruitt), Tim Jurkowski, Diane (Russell Jr.), the late Terrance “Terry” Jurkowski, blessed son of the late Edward and Dorathy Jurkowski (Czerniejewski), brother-in-law to the late William “Bill” Brucker (late Barbra). Tom will be greatly missed by all his family and dear friends.
Tom’s generous heart, strength, kindness, and loving spirit touched the lives of so many. He had a way of making the people around him feel loved and cared for, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
In his final hours, Tom was lovingly surrounded by his wife, Mary Ann Jurkowski, his daughter, Julie Kolaks, and his grandson, Luke Hawkins. His precious time was filled with family togetherness just like he wanted. Either the voices of love, and those blessed to be by his side.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort knowing that the love he gave so freely will live on through his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Tom, you will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Your spirit will continue to shine in all of us who carry your memory in our hearts. We invite you to join us for one last drink to celebrate his life at the VFW hall in Arnold.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thursday, September 3, from 8:30am until time of service at 9:30am. Interment with honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
