In Loving Memory

Kalbfleisch, Edith A. (nee Gaebler)

Asleep in Jesus Saturday, November 16, 2019.  Beloved wife of the late Robert C Kalbfleisch, loving stepmother of Deborah (Karl) Hofmann and the late Rodger Kalbfleisch.  Loving grandmother of Robert Hofmann and Rachel (Brian) Grote.  Dear sister of Annette (late Jack) Faszholz.  Dear daughter of the late Edwin and Anne (Drebes) Gaebler.  Our dear aunt, sister in law and cousin.

Edie was a Lutheran elementary school teacher for over 40 years, the majority of her teaching career being at Salem Lutheran School in Affton.  Once retired from teaching she kept busy with volunteer activities including helping in the gift shop at Cahokia Mounds, participating in the Ready Readers program and being involved at Salem with the cancer support group, leading Bible studies and singing in the choir.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Laclede Groves Crossing and Mercy Hospice for their care and support.
