Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Beloved wife for 42 years of the late Donald R Church and later beloved wife to the late Thomas Karnes.  Dear mother of Steven Church.  Dear sister of Kenneth (Linda) Simpson and the late Paul (Dianna) Simpson Jr.  Dear aunt of Brian (Diane) Simpson and Melinda (Mark) Cisneros.  Dear life long friend of Connie Trokey. Our dear aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, cousin, sister in law, step-mother and friend.

SERVICES:  Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Road Wednesday, September 20, 9:00 a.m. until funeral service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment Sunset Cemetery.  Contributions to Backstoppers or The Snow Foundation appreciated.

Mrs. Karnes was a retiree of Chrysler, U.A.W. Local #110.  Also manager at Conservative Federal Savings and Loan. She loved to read, completed 1000’s of books. She love to play games, both inside or outside of a casino. She loved music of all kinds, especially Elvis, The Statler Brothers and The Oak Ridge Boys.  Pat recently said her mom was planning a family reunion bar-b-que in heaven, then Pat and her beloved late friend Leonora Goetz were going to take a trip.

Loving thanks and appreciation to Accent Care and Pat’s caretaker, dear friend Cici Clark.

Pat is now reunited with her loving friends and family, including Paul and Audrey Simpson and her dogs Midget, Dutch, Tinker, Whitey, Beau, Yogi, Sammy, Misty, Abby and Bandit.
