Karr, Ruthann (Pierce) peacefully entered the gates of heaven on April 27, 2016.

Ruthann began her long real estate career in July 1977 with Ira E. Berry now known as Coldwell Banker.  She earned Lifetime Achievement  Member and Million Dollar Club awards during her tenure. Ruthann was heavily involved in her community, 31 years fund raising for Ronald McDonald House and many years with St. Catherine Laboure Food Bank and St. Vincent de Paul.  She is preceded in death by her father  Ernest Pierce, mother Lillian Pierce and brother Ernest Pierce, Jr. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 51 years Gary J. Karr, Sr., dear sister of Lu (Jim) Arnold, Kathy (John) Steel,  loving mother of Veronica (Hector)  Fernandez, Gary (Yuki) Karr, Jr.,  Michael (fiance Tina Gilic) Karr, loving grandmother of Brendan Yoon, Nicholas Karr, Grant Karr and Nick Gilic.

Services: Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Rd. Visitation, Monday, May 2, 2016, 2-8 pm. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, Kutis at 9:30 am followed by Mass at 10:00 am St. Catherine Laboure with interment at Resurrection Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ruthann’s behalf to St.  Catherine Laboure Food Bank,  Ronald McDonald House or St.  Vincent de Paul.
