passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Loving wife on Stephen Kauffeld of 48; beloved mother of Matthew (Danna) Carroll and Stephanie (Kevin) Chau; dearest grandmother of Ethan, Evan, Noah Carroll and Charles Chau; dear daughter of Leon and the late Delphine (nee Rulo) Carroll; sister of Ernie (Donna) Carroll, Anita (David) Woods, Mary Craig and the late James (survived by Donna) Carroll; sister-in-law of Larry (Debbie) Kauffeld, Dorothy (Mike) Collier, Irene, Norman (the late Marcella) Marchwinski, the late Diane (John) Thomure and Ray (Katie) Marchwinski; our dear aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Mary deeply loved her grandchildren.  She loved the St. Louis Cardinals, especially Jim Edmonds, Mark McGwire and Jack Clark. Mary loved  the Eagles, Elvis and Motown music.

Visitation Sunday, March 24, 1:00 p.m. until Service 5:00 p.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Stray Rescue of St. Louis, 2320 Pine St., St. Louis, MO 63103  https://www.strayrescue.org/

  1. Mary was the absolute best mother in-law but an EVEN better grandmother. Her loss is being felt deeply and her humor will be talked about for many years. I love you Mary!
