Keefe, Midori A. (nee Teraoka), Born on December 19, 1921 in Yanai Yamaguchi-Prefecture, Japan and entered into rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in St. Louis, MO.

   Beloved wife of the late Victor J. Keefe Sr.; loving mother of  Masamichi  Tanaka, Yoko Tanaka Ide, George A. (Malgorzata) Keefe, Charles E. (the late Chris) Keefe MD, Victor J. (Teresa) Keefe Jr., Margart  (Gregory L.) Owens, cherished grandmother of Angela Keefe, Christine Keefe, Heather Owens, Patrica (Norman) Bibb, Ryan Owens, Emily Keefe,  Agnieszka Keefe, Jim and Nikki Berlin; great-grandmother of Zack French, Victor Bibb and Charles  Bibb; dearest daughter of Eijiro and Kyoh Shimada  Teraoka,  sister of the late Yayoi  Giddings and Chizuka Nagano; special aunt to Lloyd (Marlene) England, Grant (Carol) England, Alice (Tony) Thanas, Jeanne Chamberlain and Hiroshi Nagano;  dearest friend.

  Midori taught at various high schools in Japan for over 10 years. She proudly retired from ILGWU in northeast, MO, was a long time member of the Japanese International Marriage  Society, volunteered teaching origami at various schools,  community centers and St. Louis Japanese festivals.

Services: Visitation at  KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255  Lemay Ferry Rd., Tuesday, December 20 from 10 a.m. until time of service 12 noon. Interment J.B. National Cemetery.  Contributions made to The American Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
