Kelch, Vincent “Vince” Charles

December 7, 1956 - July 6, 2023

After a brave battle with cancer, Vince passed away on July 6th, 2023.  He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 7th, 1956, and moved to Oxnard as a child.  He was active in the Boy Scouts, earning his Eagle Rank, Quartermaster Rank in Sea Scouts, and Vigil Honor within the Order of the Arrow.  After graduating from Oxnard High School, he served in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy.  Returning home, he obtained his PhD in Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific and worked as a pharmacist for 40 years.  Vince also served in the Gulf War with the U.S. Air Force.

Vince married Anne (Ruby) Kelch in 2001, and together they raised two children, son Christopher, and daughter Sarah.  He was active in the Catholic Church his entire life and was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.  He also served as a Deacon at Santa Clara Parish. He is survived by his wife, Anne Kelch, and son Christopher Kelch.

Visitation Friday, August 25, 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 NOON at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery with three generations of his family.
