Edward Andrew Kelemen, 84, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on April 30, 2026. He was born on June 3, 1941, in St. Louis.
Edward was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Ann Kelemen (née Turner); his parents, John and Lela Kelemen (née Meier); his brothers, John and Daniel Kelemen; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Megan, and Jeremy Haykel.
He is survived by his children, Caresa Kelemen; Kris Haykel (née Kelemen) and her wife, Sherry Haykel (née Hayes); and Dan Kelemen and his wife, Amy Kelemen (née Koch). He was a proud grandfather to Amaya Saunsaucie, Logan Haykel, and Matthew Haykel.
Edward was an Eagle Scout and served in the United States Army with the 25th Infantry Division. He joined the St. Louis City Police Department in 1964 and served the community for 24 years. He later worked as an overnight security guard at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing. He was also an active member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion.
Edward will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his years of service to his community, and the life he built in St. Louis.
Visitation will be held on May 11 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kutis Funeral Home in Affton 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123. Funeral services will be held at the same location on May 12 at 11:00 AM.
