Vlado Kireta 78, March 31, 1943 passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2022, at his home.

Born on March 31, 1943 in Hrvatsko Selo, Topusko, Croatia, son of the late Nikola and Kata Kireta.   Came to America for a better life with his wife and daughter in 1971 and lived in saint louis county and retired from Chrysler Corporation and moved to Smithton, IL  Vlado worked hard for his family.  He enjoyed being outdoors and working in his vegetable and fruit gardens.  Vlado was known to offer a helping hand to anyone who needed it and a great storyteller.  He had the biggest Heart!

Vlado is survived by his beloved wife Zilha Kireta (Saric); Daughter-Anita Kireta-Halilovic; Son-Zlatko Kireta; Grandson-Dalton Halilovic; son-in-law, Almir Halilovic;  brother  ILIJA  Kireta,   his best friend-Lucky and countless family and friends.   Forever in our Hearts, We love You!

Services: Visitation at KUTIS  Funeral Home, South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Monday, January 17, 4-7 pm and Service at noon on Tuesday January 18, following interment to Lakewood Park Cemetery in Affton MO
