  1. Carol, I’m DeeDee’s youngest sister, Linda. We were so shocked and so saddened to hear of Gene’s passing. We loved him so much and he was so good to my sister. He spoiled her rotten. I actually fixed them up! Gene had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known. I pray that your broken heart may begin to mend. Much love to you. Just an offer, we can help you with Gene’s house, whatever your needs may be. God bless your soul and may He comfort you in this time of need. My phone # is 480.307.4474

  3. Our first time to meet was across the hall my freshman year in 1976 at Mizzou. Been friends ever since. Had lunch together every week when he was here. He was always a giver. Will mess him dearly.

  5. Gene was my first roommate in college, and what a great roommate he was! Because Gene knew “everyone,” I soon knew “everyone,” too! Many of the friends he first introduced me to, I’m still in touch with to this day. I’ve known few people who have loved life the way Gene did. He sadly left us too soon. I was hoping to see him at several more Mizzou reunions. He is greatly missed! Prayers and blessings to all of the loved ones he left behind.
