August 27, 1933 - July 12, 2025

Age 91, died on July 12, 2025.

Memorial visitation at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church 6303 Nottingham Ave. 63109 on Thursday, July 17 from 10:00 am. until Memorial Mass time at 11:00 am. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Celeste M. Kloud passed away at Mary Queen and Mother Center.  She was born on August 27, 1933 to Rudy and Pauline (Jesionowski) Kloud.  She attended St. Martin of Tours grade school and graduated from Notre Dame High School in Lemay, Mo in 1951.She worked many years as a bookkeeper at Smith Kline Co (now Glaxo Smith Kline).  After retiring, she moved to Our Lady of Life Apartments where she lived for over 19 years. Suffering from dementia, she moved into Mother of Perpetual Help Assisted Living Memory Care in February, 2023.  She is survived by her sister, Ruth (nee Kloud) Politte, brother-in-law, Michael Politte, two nephews, David and Kenneth Politte, two great nephews, Donovan Politte and Cooper Politte and a great niece, Audrey Politte, several cousins and friends.

  1. I met Celeste “”Sissy” at SmithKline Clinical Labs. Celeste always said that she watch out for me when I started in June 1977 and in later years I watched out for her. She was a wonderful friend. She went camping with us girls and Kathy’s mom Helen and her love floating in the river. That is after we tied them to a tree stump. She always said she was going to be one of my bride mades. Sissy will be greatly missed and I will always have fond memories RIP my sweet friend!
