Rest in Peace, dear cousin. Although we didn’t see each other often, our mutual interests of food & art could only have been handed to us by the Almighty. Memory Eternal!
Susan was a joy to work with. She always had insight and advice on everything nutrition. She will truly be missed.
Rest in peace, my friend. Rest in peace.
Susan was devoted and wonderful member of the DRD team. Traveling to communities throughout Tx she was so passionate and caring in her nutrition work for seniors. We will truly miss her, and I personally will miss the wonderful conversations we had on a variety of topics. We send our most sincere condolences to her family and friends.
Susan was an amazing dietitian and very knowledgeable and I valued that every day. We had amazing conversations about nutrition, and she always showed her commitment to the seniors that she cared for. The communities that she worked with had amazing experiences with her as she often provided valuable input. She will be truly missed.
Susan was a very dear part of our community. I looked forward to her visits on a monthly basis. She gave me encouragement and insight in all areas of my life. She will be deeply missed among my staff and my residents. Susan was so full of knowledge and so full of life and her smile was contagious. I am so sorry for your loss.
Everytime I spoke to Susan and especially everytime she left our building, I felt more confident on how to treat our residents the way they deserved and needed to be treated. I texted her to thank her for all her help, a day or two after she had left our facility but it was already too late. Our prayers are being sent straight to our gracious lord and savior, Jesus Christ. I know he will pass on this message and it will get to her whole heartedly and with love from all of us here in the Dietary department
At Focused Care in Mildand , TX. Thank you Susan. We will miss you but not forever✝️
I’m heartbroken to learn of Sue’s passing today. She was a dear friend from high school and deeply loved by many, myself included. I feel incredibly fortunate to have reconnected with her last year after so many years, and I was truly looking forward to spending more time together.
Sue was one of a kind — a beautiful soul with a brilliant mind, a generous heart, and remarkable artistic talent. I’m grateful to have known her.
My deepest condolences to her family. She will be so dearly missed.
This is one of those times when your mind just wonders why.
Lyrics From “The Dillards”
There is a time for us to wander
When time is young and so are we
The woods are greener over yonder
The path is new the world is free
So do your roaming in the springtime
And you’ll find your love in the summer sun
The frost will come and bring the harvest
And you can sleep when day is done.
I am proud to say Sue is a dear friend from Bishop DuBourg class of ’80. when our group reunited last year for Leslies’ Birthday, we all just jumped right back to high school days. Prayers and good vibes for the family connected by blood, friendships, Love and by growing up together. “till we meet again”
