Koncki, Tom, age 82, passed away Saturday, November 9,2024 in St. Louis, MO at Barnes Jewish Hospital. Survived by his daughter Anne (Don) Schlingman, daughter Michelle Koncki, his parents Joseph Koncki and Antoinette Stempkowski; amazing grandfather to Donny and Millie Schlingman and Gracie Koncki, Our dear brother, uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend.

Tom was born on December 6,1941 in St. Louis, Missouri, he graduated high school from McBride and college from Ranken Technical with a Masters in Technical Engineering, he worked at St. Louis City public schools for over 20 years. Tom taught Architectural drafting at Gateway Institute of Technology high school. He was a great teacher/mentor, and the students loved & respected him. He really loved spending time with his family & friends, going to art shows, painting auctions, gardening, gambling, going to the shooting range with his daughter Michelle, fishing, hunting, watching war movies, Gunsmoke, and Mama’s Family. He enjoyed reading books & playing with his grandkids. His passion was drawing & painting. He was a HUGE St. Louis. Cardinals & Kansas City Chiefs fan. Tom was brave, caring, courageous, determined, fearless fighter, had a great positive outlook on life, strong, supportive & a warrior.

Memorial visitation at Kutis Funeral Home South County on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129 from 4:00-8:00pm with Memorial Mass at Assumption Catholic Church on Saturday December 7, 2024, located 4725 Mattis Rd. St. Louis, MO 63128 at 10:30 am.
