Kopchala, Gloria L. (nee Ramirez) Tuesday May 23, 2023. Born in Laredo, Texas. She was a devout catholic. Beloved daughter of the late Salomon and Leona (nee Fuentes) Ramirez. Dear daughter-in-law of the late Joseph and Min (nee Zanone) Kopchala. Dear sister of the late Benjamin Ramirez and Guillermo Ramirez. Dear aunt of the late Will and Dick Ramirez. Beloved wife of Joseph A. Kopchala. She has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a friend to many. Everyone who knew her, loved her. She was the best of the best. Vaya con dios. Salomoncita.

Funeral Mass at St. Catherine Laboure Church, Wednesday May 31 at 11:00 am. Service concludes at church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Pink Sisters Perpetual Mass or the Notre Dame Nuns Retirement Fund appreciated. Kutis South County service.

  1. I’m so saddened to hear of Aint Gloria’s passing. I have many fond memories of dinners and bbqs at our house with you (Uncle Joe) and Aunt Gloria and hearing the Spanish fly between her and mom. You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
