Kordik, William “Bill”

 

   Of Laclede Groves, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the youthful age of 97.  A World War II veteran, Bill served in the 407th Infantry service over seas for 2 years in combat. Bill was husband to LaVerne Kordik, deceased, father of Sharon Kordik, deceased and Marleen Kordik of Denver, CO. Known for his outgoing personality, Bill struck up many conversations with strangers, especially those serving in the military. His warm and outgoing personality undoubtedly touched all those that encountered him. He will be missed deeply and profoundly.

Services: Bill is to be interred at Jefferson Barracks with full military honors. The family has requested any donations to be made to Shriners Hospital for Children. Kutis Affton service.

  1. I am saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. Even with the COVID, I would talk to him on Ham Radio. My condolences to his family, may his memory be a blessing. Bill was a good man and a brother in Masonry. He will be missed.
