On the morning of Thursday, November 4th, 2021 Jeffrey Anthony Koseck “Jeff” passed in the comfort of his home at the age of 67. He is loved and missed by many including his family whom he leaves behind – Mother, Dorene Kelsey – Sister, Sherri Koseck – Brother, Larry Wahlig – Daughter, Ashley Koseck, his two beautiful grandchildren, Rosemary and Jace along with many other loved extended family members.
Born and raised in St. Louis , MO Jeff had heart for craftsmanship and a love of the great outdoors. Through his life you would find him most happy in the sun or on the water. Just a simple patio or firepit would bring on the smile we will all remember. In the event there was music around you could be sure to notice his tapping toes and chiming in on lyrics, if you were luck, you may have been witnessing some air guitar as well. One of the many traits Jeff may have been most admired for was his creativity and ability to turn a piece of wood or scrap metal into a gorgeous work of art! Regardless if it were for hobby for hire – he would bring to life his visions with his attention and skill, truly impressive. Another passion of Jeff’s was his love of cars…old cars, fast cars and classic cars. He appreciated the beauty of a well maintained classic on display, would express his admiration for an SS – not for sitting still – flying down the highway with a “WOWIE!” and poured time and heart into his “Greenbean”.
In the earlier years of his life, Jeff is remembered as a loving son, great brother and a fun uncle. His future would continue to build lifelong friendships, get married and later become Dad.
In the most recent years, Jeff would care for his latest wife, Barb with whom he loved unconditionally, made countless memories and great experiences. Together they would laugh, explore and enjoy themselves until her passing in 2019.
In the last week of his life, he was blessed to have visited with his daughter and two grandchildren. As his grandson sat on his lap and granddaughter shared her school artwork – Jeff was at peace.
Funeral service will be held in private
Deepest Sympathy to Jeff’s family. I met Jeff at his Mother ‘s home many years ago in Kirkwood. His grandfather and my Dad were first cousins.
