Passed away on Sunday August 30, 2026. Loving husband of the late Shirley Kotoucek. Randy was born on March 16th, 1950 to the late, Joseph Sr. and Dolores Kotoucek. Dear brother of the late Joseph Jr. (Melba), and Christy Kotoucek. Dear uncle of Clayton (Marsha) and Kris Kotoucek, great uncle of Brennen, Kain, Kathryn, Carolyn and Ryan Kotoucek. Cherished dog father of Sydney. Our dear cousin and friend.
Randy was a creative person and those seeds were sewn before he was even born. His mother Dolores wrote the children’s song I Dreamt I Went With Santa Claus for Randy when she was pregnant with him. Randy used that creativity as an inventor and held multiple packaging patents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He was an extra in the movie Planes, Trains & Automobiles appearing in a scene filmed at Lambert Airport. And Randy loved a good joke, especially when it was told by him.
Services; A graveside service will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery on Friday, September 4th at 10AM. A Kutis South County Service.

So sorry that Randy has left us. He was always keen to have a good time or a good joke. Melba, Joe, Randy and I went to the Cardinals season opening game in 1962 which was the first NY Mets game. Randy and I were quite amused when a beer seller came by hollering HEAT MAN get your cold beer HEAT MAN. After that whenever we saw each other we would say Hello Heat Man. I will miss old Heat Man.
Randy was a very funny and creative person who thought “outside the box”. During a dinner to celebrate Kris’s college graduation, we passed around pieces of paper asking everyone to draw a pirate. While everyone had drawn a pirate face, eye patch, tricorn hat, etc., Randy was the only one to draw pirate boots! So funny!!! Rest in peace, dear brother of my brother-in-law! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Rest In peace Randy. You and Shirley were awesome neighbors . Thanks For all The doggie treats you gave to my Dogs . You will be missed.
