Beloved  husband of the late Doris M.  Kratzert  (nee Thurmer); loving  father of  Judith Hummel, Jerry (Katie)  Kratzert; Jeanne (Joe) Abernathy, Joyce Lynn (Steve) Chandler,  Janet (Pete) Strader and Joan Kraus; dear grandfather of  Jonathan, Julia, Emily, Kelly,  Philip, Kevin, Justin, Annelise, Jeffery, Jack,  Kevin, Connor and Spencer; dear great-grandfather of Kaylin,  Ashlyn, Gavin and Audrina; our dear brother-in-law, uncle,  cousin and friend.

Mr. Kratzert was a member of the Class of 1942 of St. Mary’s High School, retiree of Phillips Petroleum Co. and the St. Louis Board of Education.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry, Saturday, August 25, 9:15 a.m. to Seven Holy Founders Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials may be made to de Greeff Hospice House, 10010 Kennerly Rd., 63128. Visitation Friday, 3-8 p.m.
