Edward I. Kraus, Jr. was born on July 1, 1962 in Festus, MO to Edward and Carole (nee Bradley) Kraus, Sr. in St. Louis, MO and entered into rest on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at the age of 64.
Loving husband for 26 years of Denise (nee Mirth) Kraus. He is the dear son-in-law of Don (Keiko) Mirth. Dear father of E.J. (Sasha) Kraus, and the late Heather (Michael) Baker. Dear brother of Stephanie Kraus, Brad (Tammy) Kraus, and the late Amy Heitz. Loving Papa of Mason, Maxton, Myles, and Milo Kraus. Dear uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
Edward was an expert cabinet maker for 43 years. He loved to ride Harleys, and go boating and fishing. His number one priority in life was spending time with his grandsons, he enjoyed riding sxs with his grandkids and son.
SERVICES: a VISITATION will be held on Sunday, July 26 from 2:00 until 6:00 pm at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Gather for prayers at 10:30 am on Monday, July 27 and process to FUNERAL MASS at 11:00 am at St John the Beloved Disciple Catholic Church in Imperial, MO.

You are being held in prayer Denise. I know the pain can be overwhelming, but each time the tears come, try to turn to our Father and give thanks for your wonderful husband and the memories and love that will be yours forever. Try to remember Ed each time with a smile sweetheart – even if that smile is streaked with tears, Ed loves you and your beautiful smile. He would want that.
Almost daily I still hold onto knowing that we will see our family again – never to part and no more tears.
