Krause, Anna (nee Reitz), February 18, 2025. Dear wife of the late Alwin Krause; dear mother of Lori Krause, Peter Krause (Shelley), and Kelly Lentz (Steve); dear Oma (grandmother) of Sofia, Olivia, Gavyn, Zoe, Roman, Griffin, Anya, Lyla, Skylar, Anthony, and Elliot; dear sister of Margareta (Franz) and the late Leni (Richard), Christi (Don), and Mike (Cheryl); dear sister-in-law of Dieter (Gerlinde), Hannelore, Brigette, Karin, Baerbel and the late Gudrun; dear aunt and friend to many.
Anna leaves behind a tremendous legacy of love and care for those fortunate enough to have known her. She loved hosting family dinners and making Mickey pancakes and crepes for her grandkids. Anna spent hours working outside and tending to her beloved rose garden. She loved having Lori, Pete, and Kelly’s friends over for pool parties, bonfires, sleepovers, and skateboard sessions. Anna loved popcorn-filled sleepovers with her grandkids. She rescued every stray cat and dog that crossed her path. Anna was a breast cancer survivor, which is a testament to her strength and determination. She loved spending time in Germany with Alwin, road trips to Disney World with the kids, and treks to Africa. If you ever set foot in her home, you were likely lucky enough to have had one of her incredible home-cooked meals or a slice of her famous cheesecake. To know her was to be loved by her.
Anna loved being a wife, mom, and Oma. We were unbelievably blessed to have had her in our lives. She will forever be remembered for her empathetic nature, quiet strength, grace, and class. We will miss her immensely and love her always.
