Baptized into the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection, Kevin entered eternal life on June 4, 2026. Kevin’s passing is mourned by a loving family: his father Gerald Kroupa, his sister Lisa Burks and brother-in-law Michael Burks, their son Patrick, his brother Gerald Kroupa, Jr. and sister-in-law Christine Kroupa, their sons Eric Kroupa, Daniel Kroupa and Daniel’s wife Madalyn. Kevin is reunited with deceased members of the Kroupa family, including his mother, Donna Kroupa, and his nephew Connor Burks. He will be sorely missed by his uncles, aunt, cousins, and friends.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Kevin graduated from Lindbergh High School and began work at the family business–Environmental Electric, Inc. He trained to become an electrician and applied his skill working for the Chrysler corporation. When the Fenton assembly plant closed, Kevin relocated to Detroit. He had recently retired from the position he held at the Stellantis Manufacturing Complex and moved to Boyne City, Michigan. There, he enjoyed working outdoors on his property and completing the house he had designed.
Kevin loved to read and to learn and explore a wide variety of topics. He enjoyed watching and participating in athletic activities. Kevin studied scripture and found solace in his faith.
