Baptized in the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Wednesday, June 21, 2023

She was born in St Louis to the late John W and Alice (Bialczak) Klos. She was married to the late Edward Kruczyk for 49 years and had one son, David (Susan) Kruczyk. She was the last surviving member of her siblings Stella (Sam) Grant, Mary (Arthur) Theisman, Frank (Marie) Klos, Edward (Mary) Klos, Chester Klos, Agnes Klos, and Walter (Toni) Klos. She was a beloved grandmother of Eric (Sarah) Kruczyk, Andrew (Kristin) Kruczyk, Stephen Kruczyk, and the late Lauren Kruczyk, children of David’s former marriage to Kathleen Buritsch, and a step-grandmother to Amy (Chris) Blunt, Steven (Kathy) Aslin, and Jeffrey Aslin. She was a great-grandmother to Jadrien Kruczyk, Madelyn Kruczyk, Claire Kruczyk, Brendan Kruczyk, and Thomas Kruczyk and a step-great-grandmother to Victoria LaRosa, Andrew LaRosa, and Luke Aslin.

Helen was a strong willed woman who was deeply dedicated to her Polish Heritage. She was always there to help, especially with her sister Agnes Klos and her grandchildren. Helen will be missed by everyone that she touched. May she rest in peace (Niech spoczywa a pokoju).

Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel at 10151 Gravois Rd on Wednesday June 28 from 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Valley Park Church at 17 Ann Ave on Thursday June 29 at 11:00 am. Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Ellisville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association

  2. Worked with your Mom at KSD and KS94/KUSA. Radio. She was my buddy. We’d talked everyday about things. Very sweet, kind and caring woman. She would also keep me out of trouble with the boss. Praying for Helen and family.

  4. May God take you in his arms. My sweet Aunt Helen will be missed. She was the last of my Aunts and Uncles from a great generation. God bless you David/Susan. You and your kids were her pride and joy. I will miss having Manhattans at Christmas. A great tradition that we’ll continue in honor of all our Kruczyk Aunts and Uncles
