I am deeply saddened to learn of Dennis passing. My deepest sympathy to all Dennis family. I got to hangout with Dennis and Donnie for all those years growing up Bissell, whether baseball or basketball or football or just a game of flashlight tag.
Then many years of softball. So many unbelievably fond memories of Dennis and the whole LaChance family. And finally Dennis and I were waiting in line at the Grainary and Dennis started talking to the cute girls in front of us, low and behold one (Jan)became my wife of 45 years, thanks Dennis! I’ll miss you my friend, love you

I grew up 1 block over from Dennis, Donnie, and Cathy. Even when we were little, Dennis saw things as either black or white. Never on the fence. His dry humor, loyalty, and humility are the things I will always remember. I hadn’t seen Dennis in at least 20 years but every thought of him brings a smile and a fond memory. My condolences to all of his family. He will be missed and remembered.

Trina and I would like to express our sympathy to the LaChance family on the loss their beloved Dennis. So many great memories of hanging out at the LaChance house on Friday afternoons playing 45’s. Then Cathy would walk in coming home from high school and look at all of us and just shake her head. A little later Maxine would come home from a week of work and look at her living room full of 20 year olds and just smile! No get out of my house or any other demands. Donnie and Dennis always were my best audiences since I was the guy always trying to get a laugh. Thanks for the memories LaChance Family, I will always cherish them and may Dennis rest in peace.

Dennis was one of my best friends. We grew up together the LaChance family lived rite behind us (The Stiffler’s) just climbed the fence. I was at their house almost everyday . Maxine was a great mom and raised 3 great kids Donnie Dennis and Cathy. Lost track of Dennis over the years but we did have a lot of fun growing up together. Dennis always had that grin on his face like he was up to something lol. Prayers for the family may Dennis Rest In Peace.

So sorry to hear the news about Denny. I grew up with Donny & Denny in Bissell Hills. All the time playing ball together in the neighborhood and attending school together is part of the fond memories I have for the LaChance family.
Since he will rest at Jefferson Barrack’s National Cemetery I will assume he was a veteran and therefore I thank him for his service.
Denny, may you Rest In Peace.

Mark and Vanessa stellern would like to extend out sincere condolences on Dennis’s passing. So many great memories watching the afternoon late movies with Donnie waking up Dennis about 5pm. Watching Bert and Missy knock down a few stags. I think all of us who visited Max and Bert, Donnie, Dennis and Cathy considered all of them family and always bring a smile when remembered. Your kindness will never be forgotten

So very sorry to find out about his passing. Dennis was so funny, and always found the best in everyone he came in contact with. Sunday dinners at Maxine’s were a weekly ritual and no one saw Dennis until about 5 pm. His nephew and niece, Mike LaChance and Sandi (LaChance) Hutson loved going to his house when they were little because they could jump on the bed. I will miss his dry sense of humor, as well as his kindness. Thank you for your service in Vietnam. We will miss you very much.

I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of dear, sweet Dennis. My sincere condolences to Barb, Dennis JR, Cathy, his grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and all who loved him
Dennis was one of a kind. We were married at a young age and divorced in 1981. I think we both were very proud of our amicable parting and the life long friendship and respect we had for each other. He was such a generous, humble, and kind man. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
