He entered the United States Air Force in October 1956 as a Second Lieutenant and served Active Duty in Korea and San Antonio until September 1959. He served in the reserves for an additional eight years and left the Air Force as a Captain.
He met his wife Noel in 1951 and they married in 1958, living a loving life together for 67 years and raising 4 children. He enjoyed watching and coaching his children and grandchildren’s teams and playing golf and tennis with friends. He loved traveling with his wife and going on family vacations.
Ron worked at Union Electric as an Electrical Engineer for 38+ years. He spent his life working hard and serving others. He was active in his church and school communities. His activities in the Seven Holy Founders (SHF) school community included leadership in the Fathers Club, school picnic Chair, Fish Fries, Joe Becker Memorial Tournament Chair, and coaching many of his children’s sports teams.
