Brenda Lee Lamb, 69, of St. Louis, Missouri, was born on May 7, 1957, and passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026. A visitation will be held at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Friday September 4, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. until service at 10:30 am., with burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
Brenda graduated from Fontbonne University in Clayton and the University of Missouri–St. Louis, earning her Master of Business Administration and Master of Health Administration. She went on to build a career spanning more than 35 years as a respected administrative professional for several medical practices within St. Luke’s and Mercy. Much of her career was dedicated to the Cardiothoracic practice at Mercy West County, where she was deeply valued by her coworkers and staff. Brenda approached her work with unwavering dedication and took great pride in the people with whom she worked.
Outside of work, Brenda found great joy in the simple pleasures of American rock music, with REO Speedwagon being her favorite band, as well as dancing, photography, shopping, good food, good company, and time spent with the people she loved. She especially enjoyed dining out with family and friends, with Italian food being her favorite. For Brenda, a shared meal was an opportunity to gather, connect, and make sure everyone was happy, fed, and cared for.
Brenda had a generous and kind heart, and family was at the center of her life. She demonstrated this most profoundly through the many years she spent caring for her father, Billy, before his passing last year. Her devotion to him reflected the loyalty and deep love she had for those closest to her. She always made sure the people she loved were cared for, cherished time with her family, and treasured the special relationships she shared with her godchildren, Sean and Elle, who knew her lovingly as “Aunt B.”
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Eleanor Lamb.
She is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Randy Lamb and Billy Lamb Jr.; her nephew, Sean; and her nieces, Elle and Laurie; as well as her extended family, friends, coworkers, and all those whose lives she touched.
Brenda will be remembered for her kindness, her compassion, her quiet yet impactful generosity, her humility, and her devotion to family. She showed her love not only through words, but through a lifetime of caring, helping, and always being someone her family and friends knew they could count on. She leaves behind cherished memories shared around the dinner table, at concerts, and gathered with the people she loved. The many people who cared so deeply for Brenda are a reflection of all the love that she gave so freely to others throughout her life, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Brenda was an accomplished individual , and daughter whom loved her parents very much . I grew up with the family and participated with all the Lamb shennanigans , card games . She was very proud of her Godchildren . She will be missed by many and pray she is dancing with her Folks Bill & Elle .
What a lovely and so accurate description of our Brennie. I worked in an office beside her for many years at Mercy and so admired her quiet confidence and professional and compassionate approach to every situation. This was truly one of the finest humans I’ve ever had the privilege to know. She so loved her family and her Baby Sean Sean, which she still called him the last time we spoke, which was way too long ago, and her precious Miss Elle. She adored Pooch, Randy and her dear friend and sister in law Tina, with all her heart. Her devotion to Bill was amazing. My heart is breaking for her family and for all of us who knew and loved her so. Rest my little Lamb and I hope you know how deeply you were loved and will be missed.
