  1. So sorry to hear about Bert’s passing. I know she had been very ill for a while. Avery good friend and will be dearly missed. Spent a lot of good times at bingo and shopping before we both started having health issues. Will be dearly missed.

  2. I’m sorry about Bertafae’s passing. She was a good friend and we had many good times together both as adults and also when I was a baby. She was there at my house with my Aunt Maxine when they brought me home after I was born. Apparently she and Aunt Maxine played with me like I was a doll (of course I can’t remember that.) I thought the world of her dad too–he was such a good man. I worked at White Castle when I was in high school and he would come in from time to time to do repairs. Bertafae and I often talked about him and she talked about my Aunt Maxine. She was a pleasure to be around. Although I wasn’t around her much since I Moved she was constantly in my thoughts. I will miss our talks and the things we used to do together. My sympathy to the whole family.
