In Loving Memory

Lee, Roger J.

On Monday, December 31, 2018, Roger John Lee, wonderful  husband and soulmate, passed away after a valiant three year battle with cancer at the age of 66.

Roger was born January 11, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri. On March 28, 1987 he married Deborah E. Brewer. They lived in  Affton, Nixa, and ultimately Pontiac, Missouri, where he was an active volunteer Firefighter and First Responder for the Pontiac Volunteer Fire Department.

Roger enjoyed a life long passion for big boy toys.  Motorcycles, scuba diving, fast boats, a houseboat, and a huge motorhome were among his favorites.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother Laverne, his brother Jim Lee, and his beloved Aunt Velma and Uncle Bob Pollard. He is survived by his wife and traveling buddy Debbie, a niece Angela Blickhan, father and mother-in-law Jim and Helen Brewer, sister-in-law Barbara Grommet, nephew James  Grommet, and several cousins, as well as some of the best friends a person could ever hope to have.

Services: Visitation will be on Saturday, January 5, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd. There will also be a celebration of life dinner at the Pontiac Fire Department, Station 1 on Highway W in Pontiac, MO on January 12, at 3 p.m. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pontiac-Price Place VFD.
