70, born December 31, 1945,  Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection Monday, October 24, 2016.

John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (nee Fechter); father Oliver Lewis and brother Charles Lewis. He is survived by his mother Mary Lewis; sister Patricia (Joe) Ferranti; his in-laws John (Pat) Fechter; his 6 children Michael  (Jennifer) Lewis, Melissa Langevin, Matthew Lewis, Mark (Erin) Lewis, John Patrick “JP” (Sara) Lewis and Meaghan (Josh) Cale; his grandchildren Sean, Addison, Josh, Adam, Zach, Brennan, Noah, Clara,  Kennedy, Hannah and a granddaughter Lucy due in April; his friend Sandy Minor and many family and friends.

John was retired from Pitney-Bowes and worked at Home Depot and Carl’s Deli. He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran. He enjoyed tinkering and fishing at Spring Lake and spending time with his family. He was also a beloved uncle, cousin and friend.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS  AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., Friday, October 28, 9:45 a.m. to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment following at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or MS Society are appreciated. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 p.m.
