On August 21, 2026, Ronald “Ron” Wayne Lewis entered his heavenly home at the age of 67.
Ron was the son of Wayne and Ingeborg Lewis and grew up in St. Louis, Mo, and Vienna, Austria. Ron is survived by his wife, Peggy (Allen), his daughters, Margaret (Micah) Miller and Marsha (Hunter) Forester, as well as his dear grandson, Lewis Miller, who fondly called him “Ope.”
Ron married Peggy in November of 1987, and they were beyond blessed with their two daughters, Margaret and Marsha. He loved art, outdoor concerts, trains, reading, cacti, Vienna, and, most of all, his family, or as he often referred to them, “his girls.”
Ron will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet service to others, passion for art and knowledge, and deep love for Jesus.
Friends and family are invited to the service on Wednesday, August 26, at 10:00 a.m. at Kutis Funeral Home in Affton, followed by a gathering afterwards with the family.
