Sandra Kaye Lewis, born April 7, 1952 to Walter Brogdon and Mary Buie, passed away on September 15, 2026.
Sandra was one of nine children, and she carried that big-family heart with her all her life. She was an extremely dedicated and hard worker, but nothing she loved more than her two grandsons, CJ and Colton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Marvin Buie, her infant daughter Carrie Lewis and several of her sibilings.
Sandra was generous to her core – she would do anything for her family, and for the friends she loved like family. She is survived by her life partner, Richard Lewis; her daughter Teri Lewis Vuylsteke; her beloved grandsons CJ Vuylsteke and Colton Vuylsteke; CJ’s longtime partner and fiancee, Chrislynn Stout, whom he will marry in March 2027; her many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dear friends who were like family, all of whom will carry her love with them always.

Services: A celebration of life will take place at Detour Bar and Grill (2855 Seckman Rd. Imperial, MO 63052) on Saturday October 17th, 2026 from 1-5pm.
