Beloved sister, mother and grandmother Nancy C. Libera (nee Callahan), passed away on October 25th, 2026, surrounded by family. She was born on December 2nd, 1952 in St. Louis, MO to the late George H. and Marie C. (nee Klekamp) Callahan.
Nancy devoted her life to her family and friends. Exceedingly kind and creative, she enjoyed crafts, gardening, and travel; she was also extraordinarily generous, always involved with her children’s schools and the community.
Nancy is survived by her sons Rob, Mike (Molly), Dan (Liz) and their father, Rob; her grandchildren Francis, George, Teddy, Thomas, Patrick, Henry, Lucy and Ella; her sister, Dorothy (Jerry) Biondo; her brother-in-law Jon Gardner, and sister-in-law Jan Callahan. Nancy was preceded in death by her sisters Sally Callahan, Kate (Jim) Spavale, Sue (Dave) Bartley, Eileen Gardner and Peggy (Milton) Mayfield; her brothers Baby Tommy, Jim, Thomas, Dan (Vicki), Joe (Marilyn) and John Callahan.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) from 4-8pm; Funeral Mass and services to be held the following morning at St. Justin Martyr Church in Sunset Hills (11910 Eddie & Park Rd., 63126) at 10am. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
