Light, Cledis M., fourth child of the late Mem and Mattie (nee Johnson) Light of Light, AR; died July 15, 2022 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Vivian Light (nee Weidler) for 59 years. Loving father of David (Sue) Light, Rebecca Brooks, and daughter-in-law Andrea Light. Cherished Grandfather of Christopher, Kevin, Zachary and Casey. Great-Grandfather of Austin, Anastasia, Zoe, Sammi, Abby, Hayden, Ella, KJ, Karen and Tanner. Cledis is also survived by sister Laverne Bess, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cledis was preceded in death by his parents, wife Vivian, daughter and son-in-law Karen (Howard) Morris, son Michael Light, son-in-law David Brooks, daughter-in-law Helena (Cookie) Light, sisters Patsy Barrow, Betty Peine, Selmar Payne, Mary Jones and brothers Charles, George, J.W.(Jay), and Don Light.
Visitation: Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 9am-11am. Funeral following at 11am.
