John was always a true gentleman, on or off the field. As a classmate at SLUH ’59 he was always there to help on any project. I was proud to have shared part of his life with him.
Condolences to his great family.

Dear Janet, Kim and Tim, I am so glad my son Curt Renow told me of John’s passing. I have such fond memories of our times together on Lynbrook Drive in Affton. Big John throwing Curt up in the air. My husband passed on in 2003, so I too know about loss. You had a wonderful husband, Father and Grandfather in Big John. He was a wonderful family man and he loved coaching baseball. My prayers are with you all.
