Melba has finished her assignments and entered into rest on October 13, 2021.
She was born June 10, 1944 to Ralph and Zelpha (Burns) Conway of Ellington, MO.
Melba’s first job was as a switchboard operator, followed by hospital admissions. The majority of her working career was in banking. She retired from banking as a teller supervisor. She loved serving the Lord and doing for others. Her heart of service and giving never wavered, even to her last days. Melba loved to travel, go for boat rides, and ride around in the convertible listening to Elvis. She also enjoyed singing in the choir, bowling, putting together puzzles. Her most favorite thing to do was to spend time with family and friends. In her devotional life, she always wanted to better serve the Lord, and often prayed that He help her do for Him the things she could still do: praying and witnessing.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters Dorothy, Stella, & Loretta; and her husband Bobby London Sr.
She is survived by her two sons Bobby London Jr. and Benjamin London Sr. and wife Olivia; four grandchildren Philip, Chandler, Benjamin Jr., and Elizabeth; two great-grandchildren Brantley & Xander; and numerous other close family and friends.
Arrangements are under the care of Kutis Funeral Home, South County Chapel, in conjunction with Whelchel Grace Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverview Bible Baptist Church & Christian School, 13901 US Hwy 160, Forsyth, MO 65653 (417) 546-4580.
Melba was such a sweetheart of a person. She had a heart of gold and a gentle voice. I remember how she learned to accept “swimming” in her later years and enjoyed pool time with family. Her love for Elvis was like no other and I’m glad she’s finally with the Lord and Elvis!! We love her always and miss her already. Until we meet again…

Melba was a sweet, giving person. So glad God brought our paths together through our son marrying into her family. God bless all of you as you celebrate her life. Praying for your loss in the days ahead.
