Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Marie Amorelli LoPiccolo, peacefully departed the earth on September 7, 2024 at the age of 96 years old. Daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Amorelli; dear wife of the late Frank LoPiccolo; dear sister of the late JoAnn (the late Tom) Renaud, and Antoinette (Vincent) Zagarri. Marie was a beloved aunt , great-aunt, and great-great aunt. Marie loved to cook , dance, jog, garden, travel, and, most of all, to help other people. She especially loved to celebrate all the holidays with her large, extended family.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Saturday, September 14, 9:00am until 9:30 am then to Assumption Catholic Church for 10:00 am mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Masses preferred.
My deepest condolences to the family of Marie LoPiccolo, and to the Zagarri and Renaud families. I remember when I was young and was visiting my Zagarri cousin’s, I also visited Marie, JoAnn and her family. This was especially true during the summer months when my siblings and I were young and playing at Clifton Park. We didn’t live far but my Aunt Toni and Uncle Vince (my dad’s brother) lived closer. They were a very close knit family and they always made us feel welcomed. They all lived within a block of each other so if one wasn’t home we would go to the other one’s home. My Aunt, Uncle and my cousins were always close to us, as was Mrs. Amorelli, Marie and JoAnn. May she rest in peace with the Lord and with those loved ones who went before her.
Peace and Blessings, Betty Halley (Zagarri)
Thanks. We had a wonderful extended family.
