Thursday, June 3, 2021. Beloved wife of the late David A. Lucas Sr. for over 50 years; loving mother of David A. (Melanie) Lucas II; our dearest sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Former Scout Master and Scout Leader of Troop #360, North Glendale and New Horizon District.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTONCHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Tuesday, June 8, 11 a.m. Interment at Sunset Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions to Alzheimer’s Association or Scouts B.S.A. appreciated. Visitation Monday, 4-8 p.m.

  9. David, so, so many wonderful and warm Scouting memories with your Mom. Your Mom & Dad made their seemingly weekly trip to the old Page Ave Scout Shop to process advancement for T360. – – -Seemed like T496 was on the same schedule, so we’d talk and talk Scouting. OA events were so important to 360’s lads and your Mom never failed in her support of 360’s teams over so many years. I know T360’s Andy Oldham so loved her too, before he retired and moved west. She was a BIG part of 360 success! Her Vigil Fire burns always; She has ‘Gone-Home’. Peace be with you and Melanie. We remain, In-The-Vigil, Jack Tejcek, past 496SM/CM.
