It is with great sadness that the family of Samuel Lupo announces his passing on January the 17th 2024, at the age of 90. Sam was married 51 years to the love of his life, Pauline, who preceded him in death. He will be forever remembered by his two sons Darrell (Jen), and Patrick (Jenni), and his four grandchildren Anthony, Alex, Adrianna, and Cassandra Lupo. He also leaves behind a large extended family including sisters and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends. Sam was known for his ceaseless helping of others, especially home maintenance of fellow church members and proud of his 14 years of volunteer service at the VA.

Services: Visitation at Meramec Bluff’s Assisted Living Center (40 Meramec Trail Drive, Ballwin, MO 63021) Friday, January 26, 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. A luncheon at Rich & Charlies in Crestwood will be held after the burial.

  1. Dear Lupo family, we were sooo sorry to hear about Your dad & grandpa! We tried to get in touch with him ,,but to no avail! Sam had a marvelous sense of humor! He is now with your mom , Pauline! We loved both of them. We will keep all of you in our prayers. Rich & Joan

  2. Since they were Catholic residents in Assisted Living at Meramec Bluffs, we visited both Sam and Pauline regularly. Sam was a fun and lively personality. Pauline was the love of his life, and he wanted to be with her always. We miss seeing them, but we trust that they are together enjoying eternal peace, free from any anxiety or pain.
    What a pleasure it was to work with their devoted family too.
