Machalek, David Michael

September 4, 1987-Tuesday April 18, 2023

Beloved son of Lawrence and Barbara “Denise” Machalek; loyal and devoted brother to Ryan T. Machalek; grandson of the late Earl and Catherine Machalek and JJ and Mary Frances Rudeseal; nephew to many aunts and uncles, he loved dearly, cousin to many he loved and mentored and a friend to all.
David was a 2006 graduate from Lindbergh High School. A veteran of the US Air Force (10 years). David was a kind, loving and caring person.

Many thanks to Dr. David Kew… mentor, teacher and lifelong friend.

He has been fighting demons for the last 5 years. The demons won out. We will forever hold him in our hearts and forever hold on to the light he brought into our lives. We love you so, our dear sweet son.

  1. I only got to work with David for a short period of time; but within that time I got to know David on a deeper side. He was very kind and loving; and most importantly loved his games on his cell phone. He was entertained by them by far . With are with God now, rest in paradise. You are no longer in pain. Sending my deepest condolences to his mother, father, family and friends.
    Sincerely,
    Ashley

  7. I am from a gaming group that was good friends with your son. We saw the decline happen in real time in the last year and a half, and we are all extremely sorry to hear this heart breaking news. We tried many times to engage in real talks about his issues and how to overcome them, but eventually he even cut us out to chase his demons.

We are extremely sorry for your loss and know that we are also grieving this loss.

  8. RIP Draco, was actually a good person, all the way from here in England made us laugh and spent many of hours just chilling and playing games together, was one of the funniest humans alive, regardless of your demons and your past, you was always you, and honestly I hope your at peace now.

He always had a Phrase he would say out of the blue because we use to play Dota together with the group Aaron Edward is in and it was heyyy bradley I’m going to play warlock and honestly the amount of laughs we had with him over this was spectacular.

  9. Coming from Canada. I just wanted to say the time I spent gaming with David was some of the most fun I’ve had in years. He was by far one of the funniest guys I’ve ever known and was always accepting of everyone even when I wasn’t. Looking back I wish I had stepped up more about his issues but the truth is I was having a hard time with my own then. He even expressed interest in coming out to visit but I was not in a great place. I’m sorry things went this way dude. I’m sorry I acted the way I did and I’m sorry I drove a spike between us and anyone else.
