Maddox

In Loving Memory

Maddox, Karen L.

Maddox, Karen L.

On August 31, 2024 our family’s special angel, Karen, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and close friends. Karen was 56 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Virginia Maddox. Karen is survived by her siblings, Steve (Cathy), Joan, Nancy (Dirk), Michael (Carolyn), Sue (Bruce) and Roger (Beth). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Karen knew only joy and she brought that spirit out in everyone she met. She was a most special and  loving person and we will all miss her.

Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Mon Sept. 9th 9:15AM for 10AM mass at Mary Mother of the Church. Interment JB National Cemetery. Visitation Sun. 4-8PM

The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers from St. Louis ARC  for giving her the opportunity to experience independence in a loving and supportive environment for the past seven years. In lieu of flowers a contribution to St. Louis ARC would be appreciated.

  1. To the Maddox Family,

My profound condolences on the loss of KK.

The love that Karen radiated to all of us was matched only by the love in return that all of you gave to your sister.

She was a “Little Angel” to all of us, as her father so lovingly called her.

It was our blessing to have her in our lives so long.

May she rest in peace in the love of Christ and in the remembrance in our hearts forever.

I too was most blessed to consider KK my Sister-Friend!
