In Loving Memory

Malone, Jr., James O.

March 26, 1957 - August 28, 2026

James Oliver Malone Jr., 69, of Imperial, Missouri, passed away on August 28th, 2026.  He was born on March 26th, 1957 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to James Sr. (Hobby) and Mary Lou Malone.

James married his beloved Kimberly on April 12th, 1980. James happily retired after 30 years of dedicated employment at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in St. Louis.

James could fix anything with materials he had on hand, often in a way that might make you scratch your head.  He enjoyed good music, his records, and playing along on his guitars (both electric and air). James enjoyed the simple things in life; warm afternoons on his back porch, a tasty snack cake, Jeopardy dates with his wife, pool days with his grandkids, a snoozing dog at his feet.  A unique vocabulary of his words are now fluently spoken by those closest to him. Never shying away from a quick joke.  Always greeting you with a crinkley eyed smile. The self proclaimed “Dadman.”

James is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly, and his sons James III (Carlie), Michael, Kevin (Nora) and Ryan (Rema).  Brother to Janet (Wayne), Judy (Kenny) and Debbie (Doug).  Grandfather to Brennan, Isabella, Sullivan, Ada, Quinn, Olivia, Siobhán and Róisín.  Uncle, great uncle, and great-great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father James Sr, his mother Mary Lou, and his precious dogs, Tyson and Cayden.

Services: Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Friday, September 4, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129.  A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 5 at Kutis South County Chapel, followed by a private family burial.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stray Rescue.

Condolences
