  5. Laura and Kevin – I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. We have been friends for more years then I can count. He was kind, loving, caring, and always the life of the party. Sending love and prayers.

  7. Dear Laura and Kevin,.
I have thought about our camping trips to Rivers Edge so many years ago.
We shared our dining canopy with your family on more than one trip.
Those were fun times. Your Mom’s laughter and jokes were always a highlight. Tom was the one who pulled Kerry Benedict out of the fire! Of course it had to be Kerry. Let all these good memories come forward now. They both are are in your hearts forever. Talk with them. They are with you.

  9. Tom was a sweet and kind man, going all the way back to high school. Just knowing him made the world brighter because of his smile. So sad.

  15. The staff of St. Louis Homes + Lifestyles magazine is heartbroken to hear of Tom’s passing. Tom was a joy to work with on his many design projects and he was always there to help a lending hand either by raising money for Miriam School through our I’m Still Gorgeous events or helping to revive a St. Louis tradition of decorating retail windows for Christmas, bringing joy to children and adults alike. Tom will be missed by all. We are so sorry that he left us so soon. Hugs to his loved ones.

  19. My condolences to your family. I am a long lost second cousin once removed and am in town briefly so was hoping to find some of my Manche relatives when I happened upon Tom’s obituary this morning. I was in Catholic school first grade and Tom must have been in 6th or 8th. He always greeted me in the hallway and occasionally led our class to the cafeteria. I have fond memories of him, his brother and sisters, and his parents, Bud and Urs.
