  11. My mom was a pioneer in a mans world…Working her way up at May Centers (Mills) to become a project manger, supervising several shopping malls being built around the United States, including Ontario and Northridge in SoCal and Dallas-Ft. Worth in Texas, just to name a few. She made her daughters to be fighters, environmentalist, humanitarians, and made sure we knew right from wrong. She connected the family in a silence way unknowing that that is what she was doing. She was not the cookie cutter Mom in no way, but she loved all of us dearly. I would see and hear those special words, her smile, her laughter, and the way she hugged her children and grandchildren. She loved History, travel, and go on little adventures…I will truly miss you Mom..Love You and Thank you for who I am today

  17. I agree with Karrie, that Bert was a pioneer in a man’s world. I worked with Bert at May Centers where she was respected and loved. Tony and Bert became our family away from home. Bert was a generous, spirited, dynamic woman and dear soul. Bert will be trail-blazing a path for us in this next chapter or her journey.

    Much Love, Bob and Terri
