In Loving Memory

Marshall, Mary C.

Marshall, Mary Christine (nee Zeiter) “Chris” passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 after her decade long battle with cancer.

Though she only had 66 years with us, every one was filled with love, laughter and kindness. Born Mary Christine Zeiter to Eugene “Zeke” Zeiter and Marjorie Zeiter on August 15, 1958. Chris grew up in Mehlville with her four siblings where she met her high school sweetheart, later husband and father of their three children. Chris dedicated 30 years of her life to Fergie’s before becoming part owner in 2020, where she persevered through the pandemic with the support of all her loyal customers. Known for her one-of-a-kind laugh she was never happier than when she was playing with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Chris loved reading, crafts, baking and decorating cakes, music, and remodeling her home.

She is survived by her children, Steven (Sara) Marshall, Brandy (David) Harrell, Jacob Marshall and Danielle Midyett. Grandchildren, Andrew Marshall (Alyssa Fried), Cody Harrell and Emma Pope and great-grandchild Brayden. Siblings, Jean (Alan Kobermann) Malone, Marjorie “La” Wagner, Yvonne Zeiter and Jimmy Zeiter (Lynn Schulte) as well as her longtime partner Glenn Schweitzer. Our dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend.

SERVICES: Memorial visitation on Saturday, January 4 at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road from 11:00AM until memorial service at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Gateway to Hope or Shriners Hospital for Children appreciated.

  8. Chris was thoughtful, generous and compassionate. She went above and beyond for her friends, especially for my brother, Chris Danner, when he passed away. Fergies won’t be the same without her.
