  1. I wish I had a way to ease your horrible pain obviously I can’t All I know that our recent connections. I could feel the love you two had for each other. Seriously it made me a bit envious. You and Don were very fortunate to have such love in this period of your/our lives. Not sure this will come across as intended. I could just feel your love for this man. I know you are lost without him but you had so much more than many have ever experienced.
    Love you my Rock sister.

  2. I worked with Don for several years before he retired. He was always one of my favorites. When he moved away after he retired, I bought his dresser for my daughter’s room. Every time I straighten it up, I think of Don and how he seemed so very happy the last time I saw him. He will leave a space in the world that can’t be filled. My deepest sympathy.

  3. Dearest Pat~
I’m so sorry I could not attend the funeral services for Donny, yesterday.
Dint said it was very nice and well attended. That’s comforting,
You were surrounded by many family and friends for support and that’s a tribute to you and your Donny and your relationship. I’m sorry he suffered so long and so much.
Keep your faith in God close and rely on your warm memories together.
(I would never have missed, but acute bronchitis which I never had before-got the best of me) I apologize.
Take care of yourself and accept those closest to you for support and help.
    With Love, sister-in law, Jeri
