In Loving Memory

Martin, William G. “Will”

December 6, 1945 - September 4, 2023

Martin, William G.  “Will,” asleep in Jesus, Monday, September 4, 2023.  Beloved husband of the late Beverly Martin, and dear son of the late Ervin J. and Lucille E. Martin.  Special friend of the McClarren family and dear friend of us all.

Graveside Service will be held at St. Marcus Cemetery 7901 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Tuesday, September 12 at 11AM.

Mr. Martin was a connoisseur of ethnic restaurants in St. Louis and was instrumental in building the Internet.  He went to Roosevelt High School and graduated from Washington University, class of 1967.  Mr. Martin was best known for eccentrically believing in the “innate animosity of inanimate objects.”  He was a very fond member, aka “shop steward,” of the community of elders that gathered at the Jack in the Box at the corner of Grand and Bates.  Service of Kutis City Chapel 2906 Gravois Ave.
