Mazanec, Richard B., passed away on August 21, 2022. Beloved husband of Frances Mazanec (nee Kamer); loving father of Andrew (Tracy) Mazanec, Christine (Gene) Kohler, Elizabeth (Matt) Brinkmann, Gail (Ryan) Sneed and Paul (Milissa) Mazanec; cherished grandfather of Erin, Niki, Ben, Kyle, Charles, Rachel, Luc, Noah and the late Daniel and great-grandfather of Ellie, Mackenzie, Reid and Violet; dear brother of Phillip and the late William Mazanec.

Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry, on Thursday, August 25, 10:30 a.m. Service concludes at funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Rotary Foundation, Rolla, MO appreciated. Visitation Wed., 4-7 p.m.

  5. I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Dick. I have so many fond memories of Christmas Eves we spent at Grandma’s and other family events. I am praying that God sends his comfort to you at this difficult time. I will always hold memories of Uncle Dick in my heart.

  9. Oh, I am so sorry to hear of Dick’s passing. He was more of a friend, than a boss, at the pharmacy on Juniata. He had to tolerate all of us crazy boys, but he was so nice to work for. He also was very generous with his Blues’ season tickets. I can still hear him yelling “Dickie Moore, he SCORES”. What a wonderful time we had with Franny and Dick. Dick was a true gentleman and mentor.
    My sincerest condolences to Franny and all of the children. So sad !

  23. My first job was working for Dick at Mazanec Pharmacy in 1969. Whenever I watch A Christmas Carol and see Old Fezziwig, I think of him. A great boss, a greater friend.
