William C. McKinney, of Affton, Missouri, was born on February 3, 1955, and passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 71.
Bill was a proud veteran who honorably served eight years in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked for 17 years at the St. Louis Post Office as a mail handler.
Bill was preceded in death by Pauline M. McKinney, who he will be laid to rest beside.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn M. Pegg (née McKinney), and son-in-law, Christopher Pegg; his son, Charles W. McKinney, and daughter-in-law, Debra McKinney. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Michael Pegg, Elizabeth Pegg, and Rylee Mesnier, and his great-granddaughter, Kynslee Mesnier.
Bill will be remembered and deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through his family, the life he shared with them, and the many years of service he gave to his country and community.
A graveside ceremony honoring Bill and Paula McKinney will be held on October 15 at 2:30 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
