(Sneed) Glenda McLaughlin passed away peacefully into God’s caring hands on October 4, 2018 at the USC Norris  Comprehensive Cancer Center with her husband, son, and brother by her side. Glenda was born August 10, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to Leroy and Irene Sneed. She is survived by her husband Chuck; son Tim (Kathy) of Atlanta;  3 grandchilden: Sean (Jenna),  Patrick, and Tim, all  residing in the Atlanta area;  sister Roseanne Nuesse (Earl), brother Darren Sneed (Tina), and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly, also residing in the St. Louis area. Glenda and Chuck were married in St. Louis on June  8, 1957 and celebrated 61 years of marriage. Glenda was a meeting planner with Monsanto Co. in St Louis for 29 years before she retired in 1990. Glenda enjoyed playing  softball in her younger years, skiing in Colorado, traveling, reading,  shopping, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals on TV. When Chuck accepted an executive position in Riverside in 1990,  Glenda became a very active member of the Canyon Crest Country Club and played tennis daily, where she met many friends and helped in the planning of many social events.  Glenda and Chuck are active parishioners at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Riverside, where they met many dear  lifetime friends as well.

Services: Visitation will be held at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church (11019 Mueller Rd., St. Louis, MO 63123) on Monday, October 15, from 10 a.m. until Mass at 11 a.m.,interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Glenda can be made  to USC Norris Cancer Fund(92-211492920) online
