Meeks, Curtis E., passed away on January 20, 2024.

Beloved husband of Juanita J. Meeks (nee Brashear) for 68 years; loving father of Steven (Sandy) Meeks, Carolyn (Peter) O’Donnell, Philip (Gina) Meeks, Sharon (Patrick) Reilly and Rebecca (the late Steven) Bassett; cherished grandfather of Nicole (Caleb), Katie (Andy), Sarah, Michael (Kim), Matthew (Courtney), Kelly (Michael), Lauren (Andrew), Corinne (Bryan), Rachel, Jessica, Madeleine (Brendan), Dan (Teresa), Kevin, Caitlyn, Andrew and Michael and great-grandfather of Barrett, Jaxon, Bailey, Ali, Maddie, Easton, Gabriel, Aleksander, Robert, Graham, Paige and Brooklyn; dear brother of Ruth Jane Rogers and the late Robert Meeks.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Friday, January 26, 10:00 am. Funeral Service Live Stream Link.  Interment with honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, appreciated. Visitation Thursday, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

    I taught with him at Lindbergh High School
    I used his shop tools several times for projects including a chess board which I still have

  6. I loved Mr. Meeks. He taught me actual skills. He was firm but kind. He taught me how to love wood. He will be missed from the world.
