Beloved husband for nearly 52 years of Nancy Mellor (nee Wagner); loving father of David Mellor, Jr., Ann (Jeff) Frankowski and Michael Mellor; dear grandfather of Ben and Sam Frankowksi, Hannah and M.J. Mellor; dear brother of Kent, Patrick, Bob, John and Mark Mellor; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel 10151 Gravois, Friday April 15 11:30 AM. Interment JB National Cemetery. Memorials to Siteman Cancer Center, Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Gary Sinise Foundation appreciated. Visitation Thursday 4:00-9:00 PM.

  3. For the brief time I met him, Mr Mellor treated me like family, doors wide open and very welcoming. He raised an incredible man in Dave Jr whom I’ve spent a large chunk of my life with. His intelligence, work ethic, and welcoming personality lives on in him. My prayers go out to Dave Sr and his wonderful family.

  29. I discovered my brother David some 10 years ago thanks to my brother John who located me in Foresthill following my retirement. I had the pleasure to visit with David and Nancy at their Missouri home one summer while on a travel-trailer vacation back east. We subsequently began occasional phone conversations and I followed the progression of his medical treatments. David was a good soul with a warm heart who I will deeply miss as a loving brother.
